It seemed there was no where to go, no one to talk to, and I’d run out of things to binge watch on TV. The calendar said it was Easter, but days and weeks and months were beginning to meld into something like when a dog looks out the car window on a long road trip – are we there yet?
So I cracked open the kit for a miniature Victorian farmhouse and… well, I won’t spoil it for you.

There are two sections to this site. The first is The Brobdingnag Chronicles, where you will find my adventures as a mini enthusiast. The second section is in development, reserved for Adventures in Miniature, where subscribers access the fictional adventures of the various inhabitants of the mini house, and it should be a bit of fun.
The name Brobdingnag Chronicles is a nod to “Gulliver’s Travels” and the giants he visits just after meeting the tiny people of Lilliput. Working on small scale projects, it’s easy to be clumsy, knock things over and generally act as any giant would in our world at human scale. Yet, I persist with my tiny fascination, building, crafting, and even planting everything from train sets, to fairy gardens and now, scale miniature houses.
There is also an ever growing list of links and vendors, who were and are especially kind to me. This hobby would be no fun without their help and friendly suggestions. Interviews when and if I can catch them!
Thank you for visiting Just-a-mini, where our troubles are tiny and dreams are all in perfect detail.
